Scope of Work:

To design and implement an office-specific business development initiative intended to support individual performance and encourage team play.

 

Challenge

One of the firm’s geographic offices had struggled over the course of several years to sustain consistent profitability. We were asked to design and implement a process involving firm leadership and office leadership to help office attorneys work together as a team to turn around performance and have more fun building business together.

Solution

Partnering with the firm’s chief marketing officer and an executive committee member, we developed and facilitated strategic planning sessions with various practice groups in the geographic office. Thereafter, we coached each group to achieve its designated goals by conducting monthly meetings, offering individual coaching, conducting client feedback interviews and focusing on small successes that added up to big wins.

Results

Through our work, the office’s profitability increased meaningfully. Additionally, the initiative was so successful that we were retained to “repeat” the program in another geographic office of the firm.
