Founded in 2003 by former practicing attorney, Mary Carmel Kaczmarek, Esq., Skillful Means works with individuals and organizations in the legal sector on strategy, marketing, and organizational-related issues.
Unlike other consultants—in particular those to the legal industry—we don’t have a cookie cutter. After taking a deep dive into culture and organizational values, we customize plans and processes to enhance leadership, address succession planning, improve profitability, expand existing client relationships, and capitalize on new business opportunities. Our capabilities have been developed through years of experience crafting solutions for the complex, industry-defining problems facing our clients.
Skillful Means Marketing takes its motto—and its name—from a key Buddhist principle. According to the phrase “skillful means,” one can make meaningful improvements in their present circumstances through a precise alignment of intention, experience, and action. We use this age-old mantra to define our purpose and focus our services on supporting our clients’ near-term and continuing success with our vast experience in consulting, coaching, and training.
