Scope of Work:

Executive coaching and training support as part of the firm’s award-winning high potentials program designed to provide skills and resources to female attorneys seeking full equity partnership.

 

Challenge

Like its Am Law 100 counterparts, Nelson Mullins seeks to retain women attorneys of high potential. But moving into the mainstream by demonstrating profitability and leadership capabilities continues to be a challenge in the legal profession.

Solution

We came into an existing program and initially supported the model and process adopted for this highly successful initiative. As we went along, together with internal coaches at the client firm, we revamped the program, so that more women could participate in each annual program; sponsors were selected for their development skills; and group sessions were focused on specific issues identified by the participants.
